How do I reserve and book my Self Catering Snowdonia Holiday?

What are the Log Cabins like out of season ?
Beautiful.
What do I need to bring with me?
All crockery, cutlery etc is supplied, as are continental quilts and pillows. You need to bring quilt covers, bottom sheets and pillowcases, also remember your towels and tea towels.
Is there a shop?
There is a shop and off licence on site, this is open from 9.00am until 5.00pm. The shop sells a wide selection of fresh and frozen food, there is also a tinned food section and non food requisites.
What happens if we arrive late?
There are no street lights so please remember to bring a torch. If you are going to arrive after 5.00pm please let me know and I will make arrangements.
How do we find the log cabin?
If you stop outside of the office there is a map of the site which shows the location of each cabin.
Do we need coins for the electric meter?
We have removed the meters from our log cabins, all electricity for heating, lighting, cooking and hot water is included in the price of the log cabin.
Are the log cabins heated?
There are electric fires in all rooms. During the winter (Oct to April) the storage heaters are left on whether the log cabin is let or not to keep them warm and welcoming.
Is there a number for emergencies?
On the side window of the office there are numbers for site emergencies and doctors.

Late Arrivals to Snowdonia
If you have been delayed and are arriving after 5.00pm please contact the office on site so that the key can be left in the door of the log cabin for you. Telephone number 01766-540219. Please take note that the roads are unlit so bring a torch with you for use after dark.
What is there for the children?
Each cabin has a video player so they can bring their favourite films. There is a large playing field on site. A short drive away, there are some excellent places to visit ( see the list of local attractions). There is lots of space for mountain biking and kite flying..
How far to the beach?
The beach at Barmouth is approximately 20 min’s drive from the cabins. This is a blue flag beach which is very clean. The harbour is beautiful and you can get the small ferry to Fairbourne and from there a steam train to the nature centre. In the opposite direction is Porthmadog (about 25 min’s) and Black Rock sands.
Will my mobile phone work?
In the Snowdonian mountains a signal can be received but you may need to move a little to intercept it.
Where is the nearest village?
The nearest village is Trawsfynydd which is 2 miles distant, the village has a cafe, doctors, pharmacy, general store, bank and a couple of pubs.
Is it a good area for walking?
YES!!! there are numerous walks in the immediate area, call in the shop on site for routes. Snowdonian Log Cabins are ideal for all sorts of nature, birdwatching, rambling, trekking, and sightseeing holidays.
Can we go mountain biking?
YES!!! we are 3 miles from the famous Coed-y- Brenin mountain biking centre. There are also numerous routes adjacent to the log cabins.
Where is the local Inn?
The Rhiw Goch Inn is 1 minute by car or a 10 minute uphill walk, log fires 3 foot thick walls and good food.
Nearest petrol station?
The nearest one is on the main road at Trawsfynydd 2 miles.
Will we have Snowdonian mountain views?
Yes, all of our cabins have Snowdonian mountain views.
