This is the most popular session, suitable for groups. In the two
hours you will usually get 4 exhilarating and adrenalin fuelled runs
down the steep and rocky mountain river.
The Rafting Experience
This is an opportunity for individuals or groups of less than four
people to experience the thrill of whitewater rafting on the Tryweryn!
The Orca Adventure
Orca’s provide the ultimate thrill for people who are looking
for a cross between whitewater rafting and canoeing. This session
gives you the chance to be in control of the raft and to negotiate
the rapids yourself.
Canolfan Tryweryn
Internationally recognised as a Centre of Excellence for paddlesport,
they have over 20 years of experience in providing whitewater rafting
at the best year-round whitewater facility in the UK, the Tryweryn
River.

White Water Rafting Centre
Don’t worry if you don’t fancy the adventure of the river, there are extensive riverside trails around the Centre, and picnic areas dotted around the site which give you the opportunity to take in the splendour of the surroundings. They are situated in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, and the breathtaking scenery of the area offers a fantastic retreat not only for the water sports enthusiast but for everyone.
The nearby town of Bala caters for tourists all year round and can be reached easily form all major towns and cities. The area has an excellent and diverse range of places to eat and attractions to suit all tastes.
